Gov Wike gifts Burna Boy, different artistes N10m each at homecoming party in Port Harcourt

The governor announced that he was very proud of all the artistes who performed on the night.

Grammy grant winning artiste, Damini Ogulu who is otherwise called Burna Boy, was talented N10million, close by different artists who performed at a homecoming party in Port Harcourt coordinated in his honor by Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

Other reports say he was also given a plot of land to build for himself a home.

During the end snapshots of an occasion where Burna Boy, the lead representative and most different participants were not wearing face covers in a COVID-19 stricken world, Wike said: “Those of you who have come to play, whatever you have concurred with the service of culture and the travel industry isn’t my business.

“Every one of you that have come today and the Niger Delta individuals that have come to play today to show the ability you have, I’m exceptionally glad for you. Every one of you will return home with N10million every,” he added to boisterous cheers from the crowd.

At the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards hung on Sunday, March 14, 2021, two Nigerians in Burna Boy and Wizkid, got a portion of the desired prize on offer.

Burna Boy brought home the Grammy Award for ‘Best Global Music Album’ with his 2020 task ‘Twice as Tall’, while Wizkid’s success came politeness of his element on Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’, which won the honor for Best Video.
