We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer for our front-end focused software engineering team.
Who You Are
You are an empathetic, influential technical leader that never settles for mediocre product development. You expect the highest level of innovation and best practices from yourself as well as your software engineering team. Engineer empowerment is important to you so that you and your team can do what you do best every day. Your software development background is full-stack although you are a bit bias towards front-end technologies such as React or Angular 2+ so you prefer to work mainly on the UI.

At Bishop Fox, you will work with a team of brilliant technologists to develop the most innovative offensive SaaS product on the market. Flexibility will be an asset to you in this role, as will some amount of creativity since you will need to think on your feet quite often. Each day will bring new challenges and new problems for you to solve. Most importantly, you’ll look at what we’re doing and fill in the gaps where we might be missing a crucial thing or two.

Your Experience
In addition to the above, the following is a list of skills and traits that describe you. If you have most of these, we’d like to speak with you:
- Senior level, full-stack software development experience, ideally leading a team of full-stack or UI Engineers.
- Experience working with either React.js or Angular 2+ required
- Back-end development experience such as Python, Golang, Java, C#
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- Experience working with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GPC
- Empathy and a dedication to innovation
