In this role, you will join a tight-knit, passionate, and fun multi-disciplinary team, serving as the most senior IC and design team leader, responsible for driving large and complex initiatives, end-to-end on our core family history product team.

What you’ll do…

  • Use and evolve our product design language and customer-facing UX to visualize flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity mockups for any feature or experience you are contributing to
  • Translate quantitative data and qualitative insights into creative solutions
  • Work cross-functionally, representing the design team, facilitating design discussions, and offering feedback into the planning and execution of product initiatives
  • Lead team meetings and align stakeholders both inside and outside of your product area
  • Partner with team members and stakeholders to uncover new insights that evolve into world-class customer experiences
  • Advocate for, shape, and scope design opportunities
  • Lead by example and do exceptional work
  • Set the bar for high quality execution

Who you are…

  • You are a strong designer
  • You are a systems-level design thinker and able to distill complex workflows into elegant and simple experiences.
  • You inspire others to push the boundaries of what anyone believes is possible.
  • You are capable of building solid relationships and partnerships with cross-functional partners that span content, research, product, and engineering
  • You have an awe-inspiring portfolio of desktop and mobile consumer products and experiences
  • You have experience directing and guiding the work of other designers to push boundaries in their craft
  • 7+ years as a product designer, user experience designer, design lead, or similar role
  • You get stuff done
