Job Description
Chili Piper is seeking talented, motivated engineers to join our fully remote team building interactive data applications. As a part of a growing QA team, you will work with engineering and product teams to constantly improve our users’ experience. You will also collaborate with others throughout our organization and technology stack to build products that are revolutionizing the way our clients achieve their business goals.
On the QA team, we feel strongly about building a product that meets highest quality expectation without significant drawbacks to time to market and overall development speed. We work closely together, with a healthy and non-combative testing process aimed at improving products as well as developing each other’s skills.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute test plans for the UI and backend services.
- Create effective test strategies for the mission-critical services developed within the engineering team to improve products quality
- Ensure continuous testing and monitoring of functionality, stability, performance, and accuracy of all components
- Drive the development of automated tests
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure and processes for scalable and maintainable testing on both internal and production environments
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience applying best practices in software development and testing
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript, JS
- Hands-on experience of working with DevOps procedures and tools (CI/CD)
- Experience with setting up and improving automated testing using Cypress
- Experience with test data management and test case management.
