So are Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid really are in a sexual relationship like the Internet is by all accounts asserting?

They’re one of Tinseltown’s most-adored couples and subsequent to inviting an infant young lady a year ago, we (and fans) can’t get enough of Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid.

However, some news today sent fanatics of Zigi – as they’re lovingly known – into a craze after claims the pair had gotten married begun moving on Twitter.

So where did the tales come from? Ingrid Michaelson – who collaborated with Zayn following right after her To Begin Again – named the pair ‘wedded’ on a livestream.

“We’ve never met, I’ve never addressed him. Zayn doesn’t do stuff he doesn’t wanna do, and the way that he did this melody is exceptionally complimenting,” Ingrid said. “He’s a particularly private individual and now he’s hitched and has a youngster thus, he does the things he needs to do.”

Cue the internet going into total meltdown…

Ingrid was quick to clear up the rumours via her Instagram story, where she said: “Ok, so I talked about my new song featuring Zayn on my Patreon livestream and i might have said he was married, I was wrong.

“He is not married. All of you Zayn fans I’m so sorry to have brought you on this rollercoaster of emotions, I was mistaken. He’s not married, I’m so sorry.”

What a ride.

GLAMOUR has contacted a spokesperson for both Zayn and Gigi for comment and will update this page when we hear back.

As Zigi stans will know well, the couple, who first became an item way back in January 2016, have had a very on-again-off-again relationship ever since.

After they broke our hearts when they broke up in March 2018 before getting back together in the summer that year before ending things again in January 2019 and then making it official again in December 2019, the duo are now parents to a little girl. I mean, it sounds exhausting, right?

The world-famous model and former One Direction star are isolating together at Gigi’s family’s Pennsylvania farm alongside her model sister Bella.

Individuals have consistently been hungry for the pair. For example, when Gigi posted an Instagram snap with the accompanying inscription, “flyin home to my upbeat spot,” in 2018 of her cuddling up to a topless Zayn sitting behind her, in under 9 hours the post earned an easygoing 4.7 million preferences. Wowah.

The relationship hasn’t been without criticism as Gigi previously stood up against people who labelled their relationship as ‘fake’.

The model made an appearance in the comments of an Instagram account that goes by the handle ‘@exposingfakeasszigii’. After the ordeal, naturally, the account went private, but unfortunately for the owner of the account – the internet already had their screenshots.

The account was supposedly dedicated to posting substantiated ‘confessions’ about the couple, and recently uploaded a photo of Gigi and Zayn claiming that everything they do is for ‘promo’, adding: “Fact is that Zayn is not going to follow Gigi or ever going to post her picture on his Instagram again.” (FYI, he unfollowed her during their break earlier in the year.)

The post caught Gigi’s eye as she left a comment asking them to stop tagging her in photos every day.

“It’s just negative,” she wrote. “I really have no hard feelings towards you, I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect a relationship between two people that you don’t even know and that you do not see 99% of.”

One particular part of the essay-length clapback that made us chuckle was that she didn’t need Zayn to follow her because he “has her eyes on his chest” (not an exaggeration, this is an actual tattoo he has).

“You guys can call it promo but I just post about my boyfriend like anyone else, whether I support Z or he supports me is out of love and excitement for one another. There’s nothing to figure out all the time… give it a break” she then went on to add.

While Gigi’s by and large quite open about her considerations, you’re not going to get that sort of explanation from Zayn. In June 2018, he demanded ‘not naming’ their relationship as they’re both ‘grown-ups’. Reasonable.

In a meeting with GQ, he clarified:

“We’re grown-ups. We don’t have to put a mark on it, make it something for individuals’ assumptions.”

He additionally unveiled how Gigi assisted him with getting his young anxiety, saying, “I had a negative attitude toward things. That may have been immaturity or testosterone or whatever the f*ck was going through my body at that point. She’s assisted me with taking a gander at things from a positive point.”

Zayn and Gigi originally got official back in January 2016, six months after he and Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards, separated.

We can hardly wait to see where their relationship (and their family!) goes from here, marriage or not!
